Zelda Wii release dateAn interesting tidbit to accompany yesterday’s post confirming the announcement of the release date, I thought some would be interested to hear that almost 2 months ago, there was a report of a possible outing of the release date coming from a leaked image of Gamestop’s internal listing of games to come in the latter part of the year. The list includes several other games that all have correct release dates, and the date listed for Zelda Wii is November 1, 2010. I would suggest taking this with a grain of salt as nothing is certain until we get an official account from Nintendo at E3 here in a matter of weeks, but this is an interesting and intriguing article and picture I thought some of you would be interested to see. If this is true, I know where I’ll be at the stroke of midnight on Halloween night this year: my local Wal-Mart!

That’s right, apparently Nintendo is set to reveal the release date of the much-anticipated new game, which will also be released with MotionPlus controls. This revelation likely means that after E3, fans will finally have a number in mind for how much longer the community will have to wait for what promises to be an excellent new adventure in the series. It appears our days of waiting have been numbered by Nintendo. More to come on this topic as it develops.

Yes, yes; the title says it all.

It was just announced by Shigeru Miyamoto that we will understand who the mystery character seen in a certain piece of art is at this coming E3. It was also announced that they’ve “flipped” the usual order of creating the game’s plotline as opposed to the gameplay:

“Normally, we create the video sequences, and these sequences are expanded. But this time we started with the game structure. And then with the video sequences. So this time it was reversed. Therefore, we have had little so far from the game to show. But will publish a lot close to the game’s completion.” – Shigeru Miyamoto

We’re hoping that this excites all of you as much as it does us!
