Alright! You might have been wondering where we’ve been the last few days. We’ve been busy. That’s where. Actually, we just received from a few of our contributors about a a new Tingle game announcement! Let me explain…
A couple weeks ago, a Zelda fan named “Eldar_Star” contacted us, telling us that Vanpool, the Japanese company responsible for the 1st and 3rd Tingle games, had announced a new Tingle game. At first, we didn’t believe him, as there was no source. However, a few days ago, we received another letter from another reader, giving us a website source that contained the same information. From what we’ve been able to translate from the site so far, it appears that the Japanese title is 恐怖のカラス: うずきの調査, which roughly translates into “Kakashi: The Search for Tingle, or Kakasi’s search for Tingle.
Simply from the title, we’ve been able to gain a significant amount of information about what the game will entail. In the next few days, I’ll give you all the link to the actual page, but we’d like to hold onto it for now, as to keep the other websites from snatching it before we’re finished. Also, it might be a hoax, but it’s impossible to tell as of now.
Hang tight, and keep checking us out for all of your Zelda news!

WOW! That's just mega cool. This is one of the first major websites to announce it aswell.
Sounds good. As long as it actually comes to AMERICA, DANGIT!
Wow! Another tingle game announced, and I haven't even finished TLBT yet. Let's hope this one gets released outside of Japan this time. Anyone know if Tingle's Love Balloon Trip is being released in Europe?
I'm still waiting for the news, but if we receive word, we'll have it ASAP.

I'm going to keep my eyes out for news of this, and I hope this gets a translation D:
I hope this game si real! It looks like a nother fun Tingle game.
Wow! Looks like this is pretty popular! I didn't realize Tingle had so many fans! We'll be sure to keep you updated with the latest news and information about the game as we get it!
This have to be fake. That "title" does not mention either "kakashi" nor "Tingle". Kyoufu no Karasu: Uzuki no Chousa translates more or less to "Crow of Fear: Aching Investigation". And the "source site" haven't been updated for three months… the Japanese title brings back no relevant results through Japanese search engines or game sites.
"Crow of Fear" could translate back into "Scarecrow". Investigation, we'll that would be "search". "Aching" could be associated with "Tingle", as in "it aches and tingles".
And I love the "Anon".

You're right, I did run it through Babelfish… AFTER your comment. The result made it seem like YOU'RE the one who ran it through. I never use online translators because they're mostly wrong all the time.
I know that Japanese love puns, and I might have agreed regarding scarecrow if it was "Karasu no Kyoufu". Anyway, why translate Japanese with more Japanese? The use of Kakashi makes it sound like a name, which "Kyoufu no Karasu" is not.
Further, I've never seen "chousa" used for the active search after a missing person before. If it was "sousa", "sousaku" or any form of "sagasu" I might've agreed.
Third, doesn't that title seem a bit dark for a Tingle game? It sounds more like a C rated horror based visual novel like Uzumaki. And if we compare with any of the three previous games for DS with Tingle (yes, I do count the Club Nintendo exclusive), it just seems both wrong, too short and too little "gay" so to speak.
Though I'm not a native English speaker, last time I checked "tingling" was a positively charged word referring to joy or excitement. "Uzuki" (or "Uzuku" as a verb) is a negatively charged word based in pain and discomfort.
I also ran the title through several Japanese search engines and gaming sites with absolutely no viable results, which makes me wonder why a foreign Zelda site came over it first.
Sure, it might actually be real, but I do not believe it until it either pops up on any of the Japanese game sites I daily follow, or Nintendo officially announces it.
