Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip Box ArtWell, now it appears that there’s a possibility of a fan translation for Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip (a.k.a Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip)! There’s a group which we’re unfamiliar with, known as Kirameki, which creates fan translations of various games. (The one I immediately noticed was Captain Rainbow, known for it’s numerous Nintendo and Zelda cameos.) Kirameki currently has a poll going on which is inquiring as to which game their team should begin translating next. It just so happens that  Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip is on their list. You all know what that means; you need to get over there and cast your vote. It’s a matter of life and death. Well, not really, but it would quite nice if we had a translation coming that quickly.

Click here to vote for Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip!

Apparently, until I’d cast my own vote, Tales of Hearts was tied with Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip, but now we’re leading by one vote. Get over there and make sure that the translation your b=voice is heard! (Of course, that’s only if you’re voting for Irodzuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip.)

In other news, some Japanese scientist have discovered something quite amazing. Think Star Wars. Basically, we’re now looking at having full-fledged, interactive holograms which you can essentially “feel”. And how do they detect motion? None other than… Wiimotes. Nintendo had better be talking with these guys. Watch the video and read all about it at by visiting TG Daily.

Fan Art of KakashiThe title says it all, doesn’t it? We are pleased to announce to you two separate events… The first one is that our test demo is ready!  The second is that we are announcing our new site, kakashi.zeldainmypocket.com! All of this is pretty self-explanatory, but let me remind you that these are not the final animations or textures; this is simply to show you that the game is being worked on, as well as to demonstrate the engine.

The game can be found on the Kakashi site’s download page. Thanks for being so patient throughout the game’s development, and a special thanks to Alex Plunkett and Justin Folvarcik for their hard work!

Also, as you’ll see on the Kakashi website, our game will be featuring more than just single-player; it will have a multiplayer mode, as well as Wi-Fi. Now isn’t that something?

Thanks for reading!

Just a general update regarding a few pieces of news from around the block. First off is…

Minish

The Minish Cap guide has been updated, and now takes you through the third dungeon. Have fun with that, and be sure to thank Michael! You can view it on The Minish Cap Guide page. Next up, we have…

Ganon, Mean as EverManga

As many sites around the community have been boasting about, the “original” Legend of Zelda manga has finally been translated into English. Overall, it’s one of the better mangas, at least in our opinion. It goes quite deep into the theme of the original Logend of Zelda game, but it also deviates from the plotline quite a bit. That could be a plus or minus, depending on where you stand on the canon. Either way, I nabbed and colorized an awesome piece of  art from it, seen to the right. You can check out the site it’s hosted on (called BerriBlue) here. And still more news is…

Kakashi

Though not ready yet, we’ve made good headway on the demo engine. Keep in mind that when our release comes, you won’t see much; the engine is essentially the core of the game, involving the character’s coding, movement, etc. The rest wiull start to come along soon once we get over this hump. Once again, we apologize for the wait, but know that we’ve been very busy. Though it’s unlaunched, I can tell you all that we’re working on a seperate website to specifically cover the game. More news soon! And finally, we have the…

Pegasus Boots

Pegasus Boots

To cut to the chase, our site’s been growing in both traffic and size. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a longer load time added to our already long load time. So after a few cuts (we promise you won’t know the difference!), we’ve been able to reduce our load time by an average of about 40%! Overall, we’re quite excited about this, as it makes the world a more friendly place! In the future we hope to cut down the load times even more. Thanks for checking us out!

Alex Plunkett's Big WinningsJust an exciting update- one of our staffers has just won a big cash prize for designing a winning PC game! Most of you may know Alex Plunkett as being our lead coder for Kakashi: The Search for Tingle. The total prize money was $500.00, which we’re sure he can use to create even better games! Stop by in our comments section, and tell him congratulations, and also thank him for working so dilligently on the Kakashi title.

In other not-so-news, there’s a video that you may have missed; apparently, not too many Zelda fans have actually seen it, but yes, it’s official, and from the first Legend of Zelda title. That video is actually a commercial. A really pimped-out commercial. Just watch it below.

And in other news, several more Pokèmon from the upcoming Black and White games have been released. Check out Official Nintendo Magazine for more info.

Finally, we want to wish you all a belated “HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!” for our friends here in the states! I know we all had a blast, and we hope you did, too.

Fan Art of KakashiWell, first off, we want to let you know that our artists have finished another piece of work from our Kakashi game! If case you couldn’t tell, it’s displayed right next to this paragraph. Personally, I love it; I think it captures the essence of Kakashi, and especially what the feeling of our new game will be. Be sure to thank our team in the comments!

One of our friends, GhostDEFENDER, has generously decided to donate a Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip review to us! As some of you may know, most of us here are fans of the game, and it’s wonderful to have someone be able to put our feelings into words for us (yes,  that means we agree with the review). You can check it out on our Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip page, or can click here to go right to the guide. Or, as if there weren’t already enough options, click the jump below to read it on this very page!
