Fan Art of KakashiWell, first off, we want to let you know that our artists have finished another piece of work from our Kakashi game! If case you couldn’t tell, it’s displayed right next to this paragraph. Personally, I love it; I think it captures the essence of Kakashi, and especially what the feeling of our new game will be. Be sure to thank our team in the comments!

One of our friends, GhostDEFENDER, has generously decided to donate a Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip review to us! As some of you may know, most of us here are fans of the game, and it’s wonderful to have someone be able to put our feelings into words for us (yes,  that means we agree with the review). You can check it out on our Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip page, or can click here to go right to the guide. Or, as if there weren’t already enough options, click the jump below to read it on this very page!

With the passing of E3, everyone knows about how we saw Ocarina of Time 3D and Skyward Sword. Both games have been highly anticipated for QUITE some time, and it seems that expectations are high for both. But this begs the question: Which game are the fans anticipating more?

You could argue that the release of both will bring Nintendo a lot more revenue, but you also have to take into account the average audience of the series. Most of the fans are kids without a steady income. If Nintendo releases both at the same time, they may be forced to choose, causing a somewhat smaller sale rate.

If you had to make this choice, which would you buy? Skyward Sword or Ocarina of Time 3D? Leave a comment and tell us what you think!

Ocarina of Time for the 3DS image 6After quite a few debates for the last 18 or so hours, we can finally announce that it’s official; There will be an Ocarina of Time remake for the 3DS. To the right, you’ll see the final image which we’ve uncovered (though none of these pics are really “special secrets” anymore). However, we must let some of the hopes dwindle a bit; It’s not confirmed that it will be the full version of “Ocarina of Time”. Nintendo is still playing around with it, and using it to test the functionality of the system.

According to Kotaku, Ocarina of Time 3D is “like a few other 3DS titles shown off so far is merely a tech demo for the new hardware”. However, it sound like the head honchos at the big “N” are so desiring to have this full game on the NIntendo 3DS, so maybe it will come true. You can view the official news on Nintendo’s E3 site. Once there, click on “Nintendo Titles”.

We hope that you’re still excited, as we sure are. Also, as a side-note, if Ocarina of Time does make it to the 3DS, we’ll be covering the game right here, at Zelda in my Pocket.

I may have some unpleasant news for all fans everywhere, as I was just browsing Amazon and got curious to see if they had any information on the distribution of Skyward Sword, and it states that Skyward Sword will be released “on” December 31, 2011.

You can view the product by clicking here.

This has not been officially confirmed by Nintendo mind you (and they make note of this on the page as well saying “The price and release date on this pre-order game have not been confirmed at this time. Pre-orders will be covered pre-order price guarantee”), and Nintendo seems to indicate that only minor things remain to be done as the game is for the most part finished, which would make one think that at latest they would only take until perhaps this time next year. However, Amazon gives a definite release date for the title (and it’s very unlike them to give a definite date for something unless they are fairly certain it is true), making one wonder how they came by this date or if it is just a guess on Amazon’s part. It makes one wonder why they say “on” and not “by” December 31, 2011. Let’s hope that the latter is the case and that maybe we’ll get it by Valentine’s Day of next year, because I can think of many people who are going to be very angry if this amazing game that’s, to use Nintendo’s own words, for the most part finished is going to take an additional year and a half before they release it for our enjoyment. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this is not the case, but Amazon gives a definite date of December 31, 2011, meaning we could potentially be waiting for this game for an even longer delay than we had for Twilight Princess. Hopefully they are just leaving the entire year open for whenever Nintendo announces, but we will have to see.

Nintendo 3DS LogoWe want to be clear: We’re calling attention to the various rumors floating around; not endorsing them.

It would seem that we may be looking at an Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo 3DS. Supposedly, the link was placed on Nintendo’s E3 site (http://e3.nintendo.com) for a few images (shown below), as well as some Starfox images, which can still be found here, on the official site. About 20 minutes after our friends at 1up released the links for where the images were found, Nintendo took them down. Now, Nintendo’s always been good at keeping things quite, especially with the Zelda franchise. If these are legit (which is more than likely), they were intentionally leaked.

But never fear; the images were mostly claimed before they were taken down. As far as we know, we have all of them. If you know of more, pleast don’t hesitate to contact us! You can see the images below.

Click here to show the images.

We hope you’re as excited about this possibility as we are! Keep in mind that the images could be fakes, but it’s not too likely. Also, if they’re reamaking Ocarina of Time, I would suppose you could count on Majora’s Mask receiving the same treatment!
