Tingle and EzloHowdy, everyone! Just wanted to drop in and let you all know that we have some site updates!

By now it’s likely that you’ve noticed that we have a section up for The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Yeah, that’s right. We finally got around to having a mainstream game set up. We also have part of the walkthrough/guide up, which can be seen by clicking here. It can also be found from the main Minish Cap section, so no need to worry! There is also a downloads section that’s heading up for the game. What’s there now can be seen on the Minish Cap downloads page.

I am also pleased to announce that we have a guide in the works; however, this is no normal guide. This is a video guide. And it’s not just for an ordinary game; it’s for a special game, known as Freshly-Picked Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland! I admit that we’ve been holding out on you- we didn’t want to get everyone all excited before we were sure it would be going though! In all likeliness, the first chapter will be out on this site about this time next week, if not before then!

Finally, you’ll notice that we’ve readjusted the sidebars. We think it looks nicer, but what matters is “do you?”. If you’re unhappy with the change, let us know, and we’ll reconsider returning them to their original positions.

Thanks again for visiting us!

Well, it sounds as though we finally have some news regarding the new Zelda Wii game! Still no title announced, but it appears as though there may be an all-new hero, as well as massive warfare going. Watch the official Nintendo video below!

As you can see, it looks like it’ll be one great Zelda game! We at Zelda in my Pocket are really looking forward to it! It seems as though it will be released towards the end of 2010, just in time for the holidays. On a side note, did you notice the Master Sword that’s stuck in the battlefield ground, as well as what appears to be Princess Zelda crying when she sees it? Perhaps Link perished in battle, leading to the new hero that takes a stand in this epic adventure.

What? You think it’s a fake? Hmm… maybe you’re right. I figured we were well over-do for April Fool’s, so I decided to fix it. Anyway, your comments as to what you think a game like this would actually be like would be appreciated.

Hello, everyone!

Just a quick update to inform you of several things. First off, we have a new Tier Two affiliate, known as Ninten* (yes, it’s hard to pronounce with the asterisk). Although currently hosted on a Freewebs site, Ninten* is packed with all sorts of content, as well as speedy news updates. If my guess is correct, this site will be going places.

Also, on top of that, we’re having ground-breaking site visits! Yesterday, we had around 115 individual visitors find us, and hopefully, more will come soon. Thanks to all of our users for spreading the word around the community.

Next up, I am pleased to inform you all that we’ve started work on our Minish Cap section, and will hopefully be launching it within the next few days. Also, we’ve added a small amount to our Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip guide, most notably in the Page 5 segment. And finally, I completed the Balloon Trip mode in Tingle’s Balloon Fight, and will be updating that page’s information shorty.

Thanks again for being active members of the site!

Well, well. It appears as though we have a new affiliate, which just so happens to be Zelda Temple! You all know what to do; give them a warm welcome, and thank them for being a part of our project!

In other news, we’ve had a few more staff applications over here, which are currently being reviewed. If you’re one of those who’s applied, just be patient while we review!

Also, now that Spring Break’s over for most of our staffers, work should once again pick up, and you can expect some new content coming over your way!

G’day, all!

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to inform all of you that we’ve got a new staff member: Give a warm welcome to Alex, (also known as SkullCollecter) who has now joined our team! I’ve had the privilege of working with Alex before, and have seen that he has quite a bit of talent.

Alex has been into coding games for quite some time, and has started several Zelda-related projects, mostly Homebrew for the Nintendo DS! Later on, I’ll write a detailed article explaining to all of you what “Homebrew” is, and how you can use it. For now, I’ll just give a brief explanation:

‘Homebrew’ is/are fan-made files, games, and applications that with the proper hardware and software, can be played on other systems. Some examples are Media players for the Nintendo DS, ports of computer games (such as Doom) for the DS, and other files, such as various Zelda remakes for systems such as the PSP, etc.

Anyway, I’ll soon tell you all about it, how you can get your hands into playing it, and maybe even making some fun stuff! If you’re jumping out of your chair to know more,  just head on over to GBATemp for now, a website that has a lot of information about the stuff.

Anyway, be sure to leave a comment or two welcoming Alex to the team!

Best wishes to all!
